1. What is a bail bond?

A bail bond is a financial guarantee to the court that the defendant will appear at all court appearances as the court directs. Failure of the defendant to comply with the conditions of the court could result in warrants issued and bail bonds forfeited.

2. How much does a bail bond cost?

Bail bond premiums are 10% of the full bail amount. For example, if the full bail amount is $5,000.00, the premium for the bail bond is $500.00 plus all county, state fees, and filing fees (where applicable).

3. Is the bail bond premium refundable?

Once the bail bond is posted and accepted by a court or jail, the premium is non-refundable.

4. When is collateral returned to the defendant or co-signers?

Collateral will be returned upon completion of all court appearances and all premiums being paid in full.
